We offer a complimentary second opinion meeting to everyone that would like one. Our meetings are simple, casual, and to the point. We don't simply fill out a questionnaire, we would rather have a conversation about your current picture, as well as your goals, objectives and aspirations.
From there, we figure out what services you may qualify for and come back with a plan of of various options of implementation that suits your best interests.
We are proud to be a fiduciary to you as the client and putting your needs first to make sure recommendations fit and are suitable to your overall plan.

Douglas is an independent advisor representative for financial and insurance companies so that he can help his clients work toward an overall comprehensive plan. This plan focuses on education of both accumulation and income distribution. One company in this business cannot be the perfect fit for everyone's unique financial picture.
Douglas graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College (now University) in NC and has been in the financial services industry for over 11 years in different capacities. He studied Economics and Business in college, then obtained the Certified Estate Planner designation shortly after. This training and mentorship experience with some of the top advisors in the country brought him eventually to the market of Advanced Planning and specializing in business and high net worth planning, while also being able to provide these same strategies to the average American family. He attends educational conferences around the country to continue learning the top strategies available to his clientele.
He started Advanced Wealth Strategies, Inc. to be a help consumers that want to learn how to have the best asset protection, growth and how to achieve a tax-free income planning with less risks. If people want help implementing these strategies or would like recommendations, he's happy to take time to customize a plan that could work for you. Understanding your retirement and estate plan is key, rather than turning everything over to someone at a large company and only scheduling an annual review, which could have devastating results on your and your family's future income. He specializes in taking the complex and making it simple and understandable.
He is an active member of the Board of Directors for Lenoir-Rhyne University Alumni Association, active in the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Norman Young Professionals, Associate Chair of the Lake Norman Small Business Network, Business Leaders United, received an award for Charlotte's Top 30 Under 30, and was in the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honors Society.
